Old RAF Hangar at Tai Hom / Diamond Hill [????- ]

The ex-RAF hangar next to Diamond Hill MTR station has now been hidden from view at the Exit 'A' path by contractors as they start clearing the site for the Shatin to Central line project. The ultimate fate of this WW2 relic is not known, although there have been attempts to preserve it in some way. <Read more ...>

RAF Homantin ? [????- ]

Notes from IDJ:

This block stood on Homantin Hill Road above Homantin Street. The white sign-board at the fence-line denoted it as UK Ministry of Defence property. It is thought to have been the location of RAF Homantin just after the war.

This block stood on Homantin Hill Road above Homantin Street. The white sign-board at the fence-line denoted it as UK Ministry of Defence property. It is thought to have been the location of RAF Homantin just after the war. Rumour had it that it was the scene of many Japanese atrocities during the war and the building and grounds were haunted. <Read more ...>
