Dragon Terrace, Causeway Bay [????- ]

Hi, does anyone know the history of Dragon Terrace in Causeway Bay, just off Tin Hau Temple Road.  It is close to New Eastern Terrace, yet another old residential area waiting to be converted into high rises.  On the street is a very old and beautiful tree, standing in the middle with shades stretching to both sides.

Most buildings on this street are quite new (I think build in the early 70's), hence I suspect what this history of this area may be.

A surviving staircase of an old building in the heart of modern day Causeway Bay [????- ]

Hi there,

If you happen to be in the neighbourhood of the President Theathre in Jaffee Road & King Lung Street, try to look for the Maxi Cab terminus.  Besides the Maxi Cab terminus, you should be able to see a juice stall in front of a staircase, with two other food stalls on either sides.

If you are standing right in front of the juice stall, you might think the staircase is connected to the buildings on both sides of the stall.  If you do, think again.  Please go to the other side of the street, then turn around.  You will be surprised.

Yee Wo Street, Causeway Bay [1902- ]

Hi there,

The tag shows the approximate location possible for the Booths to turn right into Kai Chiu Road in their Ford.  I'm pretty sure the layout of the building close to the Jardine's Bazzar/Yee Wo street was different then as that triangular building is blocking the way nowadays and does not allow traffic from turning right/South on Yee Wo Street anywhere.

#3-5 Pennington Road, Causeway Bay - Tak Hing Pawn Shop on #3, IL 6650 [????- ]

I included this one despite it's lack of pillars.  Its staircase was made of wood alright.  If it's appearance is not the same as those Guangzhou style ones, it is just as old.  At least it is older than I am.  By the way, if you pay attention to the bronze plate when you walk by, you would recognize the same corporation operates at least four pawn shops on our list here.
