Received a scan of this photo many decades ago. Not sure of the source but the photo is attributed to Edwin Tregillus who lived at 10 Peace Avenue, Kowloon, close to the car accident scene.

The photo was probably taken at the British Empire Fair that was held in 1933. Note the matshed pavilion.

The photo is probably related to the Chinese New Year Fair that were held on Gloucester Road. Likely taken at the corner with Fleming Road. The banner on the right is a curious one.

Many ships assembled in Victoria Harbour. I tried to identify the H labelled (probably D class) ships, also think HMS Eagle is in the back. For all others I need the help from the ship experts.

This photo looks similar to c.1937 View over Wanchai and the harbour towards Kowloon, but it's not identical. Likely taken at the same time as it shows many ships in the harbour, see also enlarged details here.
