This photo is reproduced from the August,1904 edition of The Far Eastern Review. It shows the then just completed Alexandra Buildings, on the corner of Des Voeux Road and Chater Road. The accompanying report states that the building was tenanted by the following businesses and organizations:

G/F : A. S. Watsons  (Chemists); Messrs Powell & Co. & Goupp & Co.

Photograph reproduced from  January 1906 edition of "The Far Eastern Review"  showing the recently completed new residence of Sir Paul Chater. This building subsequently became known as "Marble Hall" on account of its large and elaborate marble colonnaded entrance hall. Later the building  was named "Admiralty House" when the Royal Navy took it over as the residence of the Naval Commander-in-Chief of the China Squadron.
