1900s Victoria Harbour Central

Hi here is another photo of the Victoria Harbour view C. 1900, from this photo we can see the Central reclamation (which Connaught Road to be built) has just started, it began in around 1889 so I think 1900 is when this photo been taken.  HD link: https://photos.app.goo.gl/LQLU6ZSVzYmGejmN6

HMS Vestal Monument in the background. The Happy Valley branch tramline was a dual trackline that operated between Morrison Hill Rd (near the junction with Tin Lok Lane) and the Happy Valley Racecourse Grandstand.

On 15 January 1902, the ceremony of placing in position the first foundation block and setting the tablet stone to commemorate the Naval Dockyard Extension scheme was held.
