Likely this one was taken from under the Cotten Tree Drive Flyover. The elevated road in front of Murray House is the ramp leading to Queensway.

Note the roof works on Murray House.

The above photo is one of the scenes from the film at the site below.

I guess this film is very rare. A tourist captured people’s life in 1936 from the tram.

Date is a guess. A rare sight of a tram turning into Canal Road East for Happy Valley or the Depot on Sharp Street.

Noted from a hard cover book titled "Early Hong Kong Tramways" by Cheng Po Hung that the turn into Happy Valley was originally via Canal Road East.
