When the map was made, the road from the junction marked with the red dot ran northwest to Carnarvon Road, and east to today's Chatham Road. The road was named East Road. The road heading west from the junction to today's Nathan Road looks like it was planned but not yet built, as there is a building right in the middle of the road! <Read more ...>
