In the 1970s, there was a proliferation of Japanese named and styled clubs in TST. Address: 81 Nathan Road, Basement, Kowloon. Closed down

The Old Vic Pub & Restaurant

Located in Gammon House, now renamed the Bank of America Tower Building. Was operated by the Hilton Hotel.

Savoy Restaurant & Night Club, Central

Restaurant, night club, bar and cake shop in the Luk Hoi Tong Building (Queen's Theatre, 2nd Generation), 31 Queen's Road Central. As seen here , its predecessor, the Savoy Lounge was also in the Queen's Theatre (1st generation) building.

1970s Excelsior Hotel

Been around for a long time. The Excelsior is closing down on 30 March 2019. A pity but that is Hong Kong!

Saito Restaurant

Address: Basement, Loke Yew Building. My first introduction to Japanese food was in the Saito. The restaurant had set meals during lunch time. And loved it ever since. Unfortunately, the restaurant closed down in subsequent years.

Parisian Grill - Wang Hang Building

After a long time, nice to see the Parisian Grill once again. Opened pre-war on 17 September 1938 and re-opened post war. Only later did I know, the P. G. Farm stood for the Parisian Grill! 

Address: 16 Queen's Road Central. The original address for the Wang Hang Building was 10 Queen's Road Central. There may have been a change of address post war.

 

Palace Night Club - Hong Kong Convention Centre

In the Convention Centre adjacent to the Excelsior Hotel. Operated as part of the Excelsior Hotel and Convention Centre. Started off as a night club featuring dance revues etc. Later turned into a cinema. Closed down.
