Tonnochy Theatre / 杜老誌戲院 [1993-1994]

Date Place completed:
1993-12-18
Date Place demolished:
1994-06-01

Seating capacity: 2 screens, 108 and 88, total 196.

Address: 6 Tonnochy Road, Kwan Chat Tower, Wan Chai, Hong Kong.  The former theatre's ground floor is now occupied by shops.

Tonnochy Theatre operated during the period December 18, 1993 - June 1994.  This is likely the shortest-lived theatre in my compilation.  After Tonnochy's closing, a mini theatre called Golden Status Adwards Theatre operated for a remaining part of 1994 only.
