The Italian Convent

Has anybody got information regarding the Italian Convent on Caine Road?

As I understand it there were at least two establishments under the same roof run by the nuns.

One was a school for young ladies and one was a orphanage or care home. I think there may also have been a refuge for homeless women and their families.

I am interested in the period from about 1885 to 1906 and wonder if anybody knows of records or has suggestions.
