    Doreen came for shorthand.

    Went to see 'Housemaster', Kathleen Davis very good.

    Zusuki (78 yrs) is Premier of Japan.

    Cold, rainy, windy.

    Walked round with Alice Anderson, then Gladys and Peggy.

    Awa Maru missing.

    Overcast, warmer, SW wind.

    Rice for next period 17% cut. Water every 5 days.

    Workers sugar & oil.

    New baking oven.

    Russia will not re-new Russo-Japanese Non Aggression Pact. Awa Maru reported missing. Vienna captured by Russians. British 50 kms from Bremen (which direction). Allied & Russian troops expect to meet in 1 weeks time (report of 5th inst.)

    Brightened pm, wind to NE.

    Lorry in 7pm with parcels & cigs. 

    Canteen has been broken into ? recently & some stock missing. Looks like an inside job to me.

    Mary gave me Y60 for Canteen.
