Brought Mrs Harrison from Hosp. Went the Joyces’ birthday party. very good eats, tongue & cakes some of which had chocolate icing thereon.
H.M.A.S.Australia damaged in Battle of Philllipines indicates that the Aussie Navy is in action with the US Fleet.

(Camp rumour. Men 18-50 to go into gaol. We are to be evacuated to Shanghai) (Both rumours exploded 31st).
