Moddsey, where is this letter box located? I wonder if it is still  there. One letter box with the George V cypher which always intrigues me is the one in Lei Yue Mun, sited amongst the seafood restaurants there.

I always imagine a Rajput or Punjab soldier pausing to post a quick letter whilst beating a hasty retreat through the village attempting to outrun the pursuing Japanese Army!

It was located in the History Museum at Kowloon Park, now re-sited to the curent museum. The George V cipher of the postbox at Lyemun can be viewed here
