A book that seems to have escaped mention on GWULO is "Darling's I've had a Ball" by Dorothy Jenner a female journalist who as an Australian war correspondent who found herself in Hong Kong in December 1941. Her arrival and subsequent internment is covered in a chapter of about 20 pages. Fairly lightweight, but another view of life at that time. ISBN 0 7254 0240 7 or ISBN 0 7534 0246 6 paperback.
