New Territories

I've been studying the little map of where my tour went that day, and I can't remember where this might have been. At any rate, a blazing hot day in July 1972.

Date picture taken (may be approximate):
Tuesday, July 11, 1972

Hi Doug

There are only a few areas in the NT where this could be so it really depends on where your tour went. I can think of either Sai Kung, Tai Po, or along Castle Peak road between Castle Peak (now Tuen Mun) and Tsuen Wan.

Do you have your tour itinerary still? If so, it might help to describe it here and we can start narrowing down places.

Cheers

Phil

Thanks for the reply-looking at the little map on the brochure I have, I suspect this would have been somewhere around Tsuen Wan, with Tsing Yi island off in the background of the photo. At any rate, I think it was fairly close to where I took the photo of the sunken RMS Queen Elizabeth.

It looks like looking over Lantau Island from Tsing Lung Tau,

If my guessing is correct, you see The Brothers on the right, Chek Lap Kok Island before the airport was built, and Sunset Peak, Lantau Peak to the left
