The photo was taken on the sek kong airstrip,The 17th/21st Lancers were rehersing for the Queens Birthday Parade down in Kowloon,Date:april 1961

Thanks for the photos.

I remembered on that day my brother and I went to Nathan Rd at TST to wait for hours for the Parade. Like tens of thousands along the both sides of the avenue, we were so thrilled to enjoy the Parade especially the military tanks and other weapons.

It was a fun day for us boys who was travelled from Cheung Chau island the night before.
