Photo taken at the second annual camp in October 1950 of the accident to Auster (WE537) which ended up in a rice paddy at Sek Kong. Source: Winged Dragon. Looks like taken next to Kam Tin Walled Village.

I  remember well the incident and actually watched the aircraft land into the paddy field. I understood at the time that the crash took place whilst "practising" an emergency landing procedure, which of course developed into the real thing. Fortunately nobody was seriously hurt. Happy days!
