The captain of ss Hung On (what a name !) was my grandfather A.A.Laihovetsky, whose daughter Zena was the first non-British child admitted to CBS when Sir Reginald Stubbs was Governor, as a stateless ex-Russian.

A.A. Laihovetsky, died in HK in 1942.
