Percy Lowe was a keen lawn green bowler, and Captain of the Police Recreation Club (PRC) Mens Bowling team.

This picture shows him (left) shaking hands with a rival team Captain - it is unsure which team won the championship,

Any guesses where this was taken?

We've got a Place for the Police Recreation Club in Happy Valley (http://gwulo.com/node/13868), and another for the Police Sports & Recreation Club on Boundary Street (http://gwulo.com/node/2861), but I'm not sure when the Happy Valley club closed, or the Boundary Street club opened.

Not sure where this match took place. Suspect it was neither of the PRCs since I was familiar with both and I dont recognise what little I can see of the place, nor most of the people. Sorry.
