Hi There,

This is a road side Pai Dong selling various Soy products.  I could make out a few kinds of bean sprouts, fried bean curd, various kinds of Tofu.

Thanks & Best Regards,

T

Thanks T.  Somehow this latest batch of photographs has got inserted twice - I hope that David can get rid of the duplicates! Andrew

Hi there,

I believe if you are the creater of the piece you should be able to delete it.  Please try to open one of the duplicates and click 'Edit' and see if there is an option for you to delete.

Thanks & Best Regards,

T

I've been through and deleted the duplicates.

It happens sometimes that we get duplicates when uploading images. The most likely cause is that the "Finish" button on the page to upload photos is clicked more than once.

It's easy to do - sometimes the upload doesn't seem to be working so we click the button again. If you're not sure if the photos have been uploaded or not, a good trick is to open another browser window, and visit the "What's new" page. If you see your photos there, they've already been uploaded ok. But if they don't appear, the upload didn't work and you can click "Finish" again.

Regards, David

An I right in thinking there is a whole rack of cigarettes on sale in the centre of the photo?

Hi Breskvar

I've zoomed in on my original file and, while it does look like cigarette packs in the glass case, I couldn't be certain. Andrew

Hi There,

There is a showcase full of ciggy with some other stuffs on top of it.  However there is a possibility that the Tufu stall and the shop at the back are two shops.  We certainly could not confirm as the photos was taken decades ago.

I would say it was very likely two non-related shops as you need a special license to sell tobacco products.
