This photo shows a string of firecrackers bursting in the background. It must be shot in 1966 or an earlier year because firecrackers have been banned in Hong Kong since the May 1967 riots. The Fire Dragon Dance in Tai Hang Village has lost a lot of funs following the firecracker ban.

I can confirm that the photo was taken in 1981 - despite the ban on fireworks the police turned a blind eye to the Fire Dragon fireworks at that time.
