My mother with her 2 younger brothers probably aged 5, 3 and 1 just before the Japanes occupation. They apparently went to Macau at the start of the war but lived in Ying Fai Terrace between 1945 and the early 1950's. Does anyone remember being at school with any of them?

Both those schools have a high profile in Hong Kong, and active alumni associations. Could be worth contacting to see if they can tell you any more about your family's attendance, and ask their members if anyone was at school with them:
If you do contact them I'll be interested to hear how it goes.
