This is another copy of a mid 1860s portrait of James Dunlop. www.flickr.com/photos/weedonkerr/5435194323/in/set-721576... Reprinted and slightly re-touched probably for one of his sons, either Robert or John Mitchell Dunlop by a studio in Hong Kong in the late 1870s/early 1880s. The handwritten note on the reverse incorrectly identifying the sitter as "James Don Lickley" is fairly recentIy.
Its interesting to note that there was another photographer (Pun Lun) at 56, Queens Road Central. Lai Afong's studio was at 54, Queens Road Central.
