The following pictures from the Nga Choi Hang Squatter Village taken by myself around 1994/95, prior to the fire which destroyed it completely. At the time of the pictures, all of the squatters had vacated. Many domestic objects were left behind in the huts. Interesting to note in the village, as it was the practice, rubish collection, public toilets and sidewalk lighting were provided. The huts as well had telephone lines connected by the main carrier at the time, HKT. There small green posts with the "orange logo" could be found at the time.
