One of the real pleasures of being on the camp was watching the iconic fishing junks and the smaller sampans settng out and returning across the mouth of the bay. At night we used to sit on the balconies of the accommodation block or the N.A.A.F.I. and watch the bobbing lights on the sampans as their crews fished for sea urchins.
