In the very early 1950s, the large two storey  building at the lower right was living accommodation for R.A.F. personnel. It was built in 1938, and in 2003 was being used as accommodation for holiday makers at the Lyemun holiday park.  By then the old church contained a badminton court.  The single storey building nearer the sea was used as offices by the R.A.F. It was demolished some time ago and that area is now used by the Hong Kong Jockey Club.
