Judging by the decorations hanging on the wallo, the civilian clothing and the jovial presence of several senior N.C.O.s, this was probably his Watch's Christmas dinner celebration in one fo the restaurants down town. The Savoy restaurant (at North Point?) was a popular venue for these meals. (Andrew S)
