This photo must be pre 1950 as no Bank of China Building.

I also noticed there was no Bank of China building in this photo. Can anyone identify the year this  photo might have been taken?

Looking at the photo presented, a good indicator of the year(s) would be the China National Aviation Corporation (CNAC) wings logo on the 2/F of the King's Building on the then Central waterfront as seen here The CNAC emblem does not appear in photos post WWII. As CNAC had moved its operations to Hong Kong in 1937 after events in Shanghai, one may be looking at a photo window between 1937 and 1941.

Thanks for your reply. I’ve moved the photo according.

Had a quick browse through for confirmation. In January 1937, the HK office of CNAC was located at the Peninsula Hotel Arcade, Kowloon. In July 1937, it is noted that CNAC had offices at the King's Building as well as the one at the Peninsula. CNAC were also traffic agents for Pan-Amercan Airways as the latter airline had a huge share in the company.
