Can the location of this 1958 photo be identified by the background ?

The rear of my photo says— with Ginger Bolton outside a shop while on leave staying at the Cheero Club. March 58.- Do  the background Cantonese characters hold any clues ? My only guess that it is somewhere in Victoria.

The hanging sign says "Starch-free shirt, buy 1 get 4", and then a list of the 3 free items (too blurry to ID). The store's name is probably on the upper right corner of the sign and not enough of it is visible for ID.

On the column, left to right are: limit, starch-free memorial, customer appreciation special sale.
