Does anyone have a similar letter in their family pics? I would dearly love to know what my grandmother did to merit coomendation - or was this a general letter? I don't have one for Mrs M.J.Staple's sister Isabella Warbrick but it could just be lost. Also curious this is dated 1947. I have a letter dated September 1945, signed by King GeorgeV but it is a general letter fo welcome back on return from captivity.
