This, I thought, was an interesting photograph. The question must be asked as to whether it is Hong Kong. Being night time creates its on problems.
The photograph appears to show either a "lighthouse" beam or a "searchlight" beam shining on a warship of somewhat. One is reminded of wartime films! I suspect a date for the photograph is difficult although so far I have mainly 1932 - 1936 and 1949 to 1950, all thanks to the community. Has anyone any thoughts?
