Photo of the C.W Kinder Memorial hall at Tangshan. This wooden bungalow, one of the few buildings to survive the Tangshan Earthquake of 1976 was previously a staff quatrer occupied by one the European managers employed in the Chinezse Engineering & Mining Company's various industeries. Some  KMA bricks uneartherd in the locality now serve as part of the brick pathway leading to the front door of the bungalow.

It is not Hong Kong. Tangshan is a city in Hebei, China. Claude W. Kinder was a British engineer who worked in China during the Qing dynasty in the 19th century.
