On the back it is written "Chairs" passing the Dairy Farm Hong Kong. 1914 (1904 ?) . It is a bit difficult to find out the exact year because of the handwriiting. I would guess 1914.

Sedan chairs passing Dairy Farm c.1914 from Daniel Wettling
I notice those "Chairs" parked behind had canopies. Were they much more expensive to hire? None of the "coolies" were wearing any head covering despite the strong sun. I don't suppose there were ever any female coolies in those days. Tough breed. Wonderful capture.
