REPORT OF 1910s KCR GRADIENT STONE PILLAR

Dear Everybody:

I found a KCR gradient stone pillar in CUHK on Sep 1998. So, I reported to Antiquities and Monuments Office (AMO) and CUHK. Then AMO created a file about this stone pillar. CUHK knew this stone pillar and protected the hillside.

This stone pillar is in Campus Circuit East (nearby street light box No:R10-B18).You can travel by train to University Station (EAST RAIL) and then go straight to Campus Circuit East.

This is a gradient stone pillar. "LEVEL"mean that no gradient change. "1 IN 500"mean that decent gradient 1 to 500.

That's a good find. Must be close to its 100th birthday now.

This one? If you didn't tell us, I wouldn't be looking for it at the hillside, I would have thought it's by the railway.
