A general view of constables at PTS getting ready for parade. You keep fingers crossed that your squad were not singled out for inspection as everything got looked at. At one parade I got inspected by the CDMI (chief drill and musketry inspector) and on one shoulder you have a black cord which holds your whistle and keys in a chest pocket on the tunic. The CDMI looked at me, the cord and the pocket and pulled the cord slowly out of the pocket and on the end of my cord was a bath plug, put there by my friend Russ DELAHEY who was from the Bermuda police. Well I looked at the CDMI and he sort of stared at me and you know how a kettle goes deep red before it explodes in a load of steam, heat and noise? Thats what I got and only 6 times round the square as it was getting late. Friendly times and more to me as I didn't grass up Russ.
