Judging from the angle and the fact that the boat is sitting on mud, I would think this would have been taken closer to Tai Wai - perhaps where the nullah now is between Shing Ho and Shing Wan Roads?

CF Leung commented, "Buffalo Hill & West Buffalo Hill (or Wong Ngau Shan) in the background. So,Village at middle of photo: Shatin Wai.Small hill at left: Yuen Chau Kok. 

Beach: now Sha Kok Estate. Area between small hills at left and middle: now Prince of Wales Hospital. Can get similar view of the hills if standing at Sha Tin Wai Road side of Sha Kok Estate."
