The three children of Ron Brooks, Deputy Chief Officer of the HK Fire Brigade, regularly attended the horse riding school in the early 1950s. There were seven ponies named after the seven dwarfs: Sleepy, Doc, Grumpy etc. especially for the children to ride. There was a row of stables and also race horses. The school was run by Tito Xavier and his wife Mae, they had twin daughters. I believe they moved to Australia.
