A front porch scenario at House # 29 of southern Cheung Chau
Hello everyone,
Like many other European Houses on the old Cheung Chau, it stood on some high point very close to the cliff area of the coastline. It had wonderful view all over land and the sea.
From the picture, I can imagine life can be very boring if the children were not allowed to go playing outside the site boundary. Indeed they had lots of interesting things to do or to explore over the landscape there. They just needs caregivers to look after their physical needs.
What a nice vacation home !! or Wartime refuge !!!!
Thanks Heaven!!!

How many people were included in this picture?
Hello everyone,
The fact that very little information is available for the reconstruction of the long-lost House #29 makes this picture priceless to me. Now I have the idea to draw about it. Thanks .
By the way there were eleven people appeared in the picture, surely not counting the photo-taker !
Agree?

I agree there are 11 - though for the people on the extreme right and left all we can see is their shoes!
