This beautiful main entrance is already gone and become a shop almost a year ago. The whole block had been referbished, repainted. Most traditional decoration had been stripped. Sort of become a tasteless building by its looks.

It is a pity that the wooden gate (called 趟櫳 [tong lung] in Cantonese) is lost, but on the other hand it is a miracle that it survived until 2010. I wonder if this was the last one in urban Hong Kong.
