The sign at the top left corner should be of 譚寶鈞 *Tam Po-kwan. Tam Po-kwan was a famous Chinese medicine practitioner in Hong Kong and was also the head of the China College of Chinese Medicine 中國國醫學院 since the 1950s. The location of this sign may be his clinic in the pre-war time.

According to 1950 年香港年鑑, address of 譚寶鈞 Tam Po-kwan. was 176 queen road central second floor.

The above address may well be correct. Not conclusive yet but the photo identification numbers or frame reference numbers for the photo sequence I.e. the before and after photos seem to suggest Wanchai around Johnston Road.
