Below Kadoorie Hill, looking north towards Beacon Hill. St Teresa's Church can be faintly made out in the distance. The hand-coloured photo is from 1945 and had been taken by a member of the RAF 5025 Airfield Construction Squadron that was sent out to repair the Japanese constructed runways at Kai Tak and expand other airfields. It appears that the Squadron was billeted in the vicinity of where this photo was taken.
