The lady in the black and white shoes was noted here She is strolling with a gentleman and browsing the shops next to Kowloon Wharf and Kowloon Star Ferry. In one of the photos in the sequence, the lady is seen buying a Hong Kong Telegraph newspaper outside the Kowloon Star Ferry. The date is 26 October 1940. In the background, the film "Lillian Russell" is being advertised and was screened at the King's Theatre between 25 and 28 October 1940.
