Sau Fu street in Yuen Long was named after my great grandfather Wong Sau Fu who was born around 1860. His 4th son was Wong Fook Hong and the adjacent Fook Hong street is named after him. Wong Fook Hong purchased a lot of the cheap farm land in Yuen Long (and also at Fanling in New Territories). A few of the street names around Yuen Long and the surrounds of Sau Fu street are named after connections to Fook Hong. Some of the streets are named after his sons.
