These beauties are growing at the very end of the tunnel, in the worst conditions possible (basically no light and nothing but rusty mud on the ground)
Maybe a botanist can tell what these are? They grow from some kind of nut and are about 30cm / 1 ft tall. I realised when I headed back that there were a few others here and there in the tunnel that I hadn't noticed when walking in, but this batch was growing right in the middle of the deepest section.
