Rose Land Restaurant - 玫瑰閣餐廳

Grand Opening - 1967

Closed - 1990

I used to eat there a lot during my childhood years when I was living on North View Street (北景街) in North Point (北角). My father liked to meet people there for business in the evening hours. There was an identical business sign / logo outside the restaurant on the wall. This was the most classy restaurant in the area.

Nice to hear your memories of the restaurant. If one scrolls through the matchbox label collection, one can find the names of other restaurants in the district from the late 1960s. Yes, I do recall the 'rose' on the wall.
