This picture shows the Chinese town (as my grandmother named it on the back of the photo) with a lot of damage due to the water's power after a major 1926 typhoon had hit the city.

Hi There,
The stream is still there but had gone underground at Hill Road. But it is still uncovered above HKU.. I remember it still floods a few years ago during a severe rain storm flooding the campus. Some of the water follow foot paths and came down from the foot bridge across the road. Should be quite a scene if you are in the area when it happened.
