Harper's used to have a depot for their car customer in Aberdeen very near the entrance of the Chinese Cemetary. It's location became a real estate development in the late 1980s or early 1990s.
1. At least two (2) Mercedez Taxis were visible in this photo. One going west bound on Hennesy, another one south bound on O'Brien. There might be another one right behind the tow car;
2. The photographer appeared to be at the back of the upper deck of a tram, with the car in tow;
3. The present day big tree at the junction was not there yet. No sign of any trees being planted on the ground yet;
4. No Traffic lights at the junction at all;
5. There were two tow cars visible. The other one was west bound at the junction of Johnston & Wanchai.
I am quite sure the Chinese medicine practitioner (upper right corner in red) "Ng Cheuk Kei" still has similar sign today somewhere (maybe the same spot?). Wonder if he is still around or just that the sign was never taken down.

Hi there,
