This is a photo of the house on 79 Waterloo Road.

This residence was also known as 勞昌大堂. It was built in the 1930's, and demolished around 1970.
In the Second World War, it was used by the Imperial Japanese as a base of some sort(communications?). The Japanese would execute people in the garden, leading people to later say that the house was haunted.

This video, made by one of the relatives, is a 3D modelling of the house, and may be of interest.

Going by the styling of the 3 vehicles this photo was probably taken in the late 1950s or even early 1960s/

Oh, you might be right... I never really focused on the cars, just liked to look at the house.

Model  showing 79 Waterloo Road taken from Kadoorie Estate history site. What puzzles me is why none of the houses on Kadoorie avenue appear in the original photo.
