Completion of the eastern wing (first phase) of Eu Gardens in April 1939. The completed flats represent only half of the scheme envisaged by Mr. Eu Tong-sen, the millionaire owner. A new series of 18 flats of similar design is to be built between the present and the Central British School. HK Telegraph 15 April 1939 refers.
