I have these seven photographs of what appears to be a fire at a base/airport/dock area. Has anybody any ideas as to what they relate too. Possible dates between 1933 and 1936 but not sure

Sorry, I don't recognise the scene. If you look through a magnifying glass, is there any identifying writing on the buildings, or any landmarks in the background that might help?
